I just discovered Highroller Casino right before I wrote this review, and after a quick look around the popular gambling forums, I’m not quite sure how I missed it until now.
This site is generating quite a buzz across the web, with players talking about its unique theme and ongoing rewards. It seems it’s even possible to “mug” other players and take their reward coins, which is definitely a first for online casinos.
As with all my online casino reviews, and all the reviews on this site, I’m going to cover Highroller in detail. By the end of this review you’ll know basically all there is to know about this site and will be able to make an informed decision about whether or not it’s right for you.
Remember, this site doesn’t accept bribes or kickbacks to improve reviews. You’ll find out the truth here, and that’s why you’ll keep coming back for more. Don’t believe me? Read on and you’ll see.
About Highroller Casino
This is the latest casino from Betit Operations Ltd, the company behind Kaboo, Thrills, and Superlenny. They’ve built a solid name for themselves in the “themed” casino niche, and that’s exactly what Highroller is.
Casinos with interactive themes have become somewhat of a craze in recent years, but this is one of the best I’ve seen. The idea is simple – you’ll make your way through a crime-ridden urban metropolis called Metrocity, district by district, reaping rewards as you conquer each block.
This means that you’ll be rewarded on an ongoing basis for doing what you do anyway – playing casino games. I really like casino sites like this, because it means I’ll get a percentage of what I bet back, slightly increasing my odds of winning over the long run, not to mention feeling more engaged by the game-like nature of the theme itself.
Yet Highroller doesn’t just have a cool gimmick, it’s also has a wealth of high-quality games and trustworthy licences from, the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority.
I’ll outline its various strengths and weaknesses as this review goes on. Ready? You better be… because I’m getting started regardless!

Software Suppliers
It’s crucially important to assess the quality of the software providers at any online casino you’re thinking of playing at. The Highroller games are provided by:
- Microgaming
- NetEnt
- Play’n GO
- IGT
- WMS
- Yggdrasil
- Thunderkick
- Elk Studios
- NextGen Gaming
- Bally Technologies
- Big Time Gaming
- Blueprint Gaming
- Push Gaming
- Pragmatic Play
- Red Tiger Gaming
- Evolution Gaming
These are all world-class software firms with long, established histories in the industry. Having such a large number of them ensures a diverse gaming experience.
Game Selection
If you take a quick look at the software providers section above you’ll see that Highroller casino has chosen to work with lots of big names. That equates to a quality range of games for you to play. There are over 750 already and more games are being added as they come out.
I’ll now focus on each game category and list the available games in each. Feel free to skip ahead to the section most relevant to you, or take in the entire spectrum.
Poker
The only digital poker game available is Caribbean Stud poker. There are some others in the live casino, though, which is outlined below.
Highroller does not offer a poker client for download with live tournaments. This is a pure online casino.
Video Poker
Video poker tends to be overlooked by many new casinos, but not this one. The selection of games here is enough to satisfy even the keenest video poker players.
- Aces and Eights
- All American
- Bonus Poker
- Deuces and Jokers
- Deuces Wild
- Double Joker Poker
- Double Bonus Poker
- Double Joker
- Jacks or Better
- Joker Poker
- Joker Wild
- Tens or Better
These games are powered by NetEnt, Microgaming, and Play’n GO. You can play all of them except the Microgaming titles in free-play mode.
Bets begin from just £1 per hand to as much as £50. No matter what your budget you’ll be able to get in on the action.
Needless to say with software providers like these, the actual games themselves are smooth as silk and as good as any I have encountered.
Table Games
A casino just wouldn’t be a casino without cad and table games, right? Happily, Highroller provides plenty of options when it comes to spinning wheels, rolling dice, and turning over cards.
Here’s a run-through of the digital table and card games available:
- Baccarat
- Baccarat Pro
- Baccarat Gold
- Blackjack Pro
- Classic Blackjack
- European Blackjack
- Single Deck Blackjack
- Multi-Hand Blackjack
- Caribbean Stud Poker
- European Roulette
- American Roulette
- French Roulette
These games are powered by NetEnt, IGT, Play’n GO, Red Tiger, and Microgaming. They’re all high-quality and much like the table and card games at hundreds of other online casinos.
I did have to reload the Caribbean Stud game twice before it loaded correctly. Apart from that, there were no issues and I enjoyed the games I played.
It’s possible to play almost all of these games in free play mode if you want to check them out before committing to real money bets.
Slots
Slots are the highlight of this casino. There are hundreds upon hundreds of great games to choose from, and some of the best slots online are listed here.
If you’re after progressive jackpots you’ll be pleased to know there are plenty of jackpot slots, too. I’ll let you know which in the list below offer these life-changing payouts.
Some of the games I recommend checking out include:
- Wolf Gold
- Montezuma
- Divine Fortune
- Tiki Tumble
- Moon Princess
- Book of the Dead
- Temple Quest – Spinfinity
- Mega Moolah
- Northern Sky
- Gem Rocks
- Starburst
- Twin Spin Deluxe
- Fire Joker
- Bonanza
- Gold King
- Cleopatra
- Immortal Romance
- Viking Runecraft
- Thunderstruck II
- Bloodsuckers II
- Gonzo’s Quest
- Imperial Opera
- Hall of Gods
- Mega Joker
This is just a small sample of the available games. There are many more to choose from. I just think these are the best of the bunch and so want to recommend them to you here.
All of these games are flawless in terms of actual gameplay. They load quickly, there are no freezes or breaks (as long as your connection is solid), and you can trust the software. Based on the software providers list, I’d expect nothing less.
You’ll be able to check out some of these slots in demo mode. You’ll need to create an account first, though.
Live Casino
Any casino which fails to offer live games is blind to the future, and thankfully Highroller isn’t one of them. Live games are available from both NetEnt and Evolution Gaming and include:
- Baccarat
- Blackjack
- Blackjack Paris
- Caribbean Stud
- Casino Hold’em
- Dream Catcher
- American Roulette
- European Roulette
- Double Ball Roulette
- Auto Roulette
- VIP Roulette
- Speed Roulette
- Immersive Roulette
- Three Card Poker
- Ultimate Texas Hold’em
Live games generally cost a little more to play than their digital counterparts, but some games offer bets from as little as £0.10 (eg Money Wheel and Roulette). If you want to bet big, some of the roulette games offer bets as big as £5,000 and you can bet up to £10,000 per hand when playing baccarat.
Unlike the digital table and card games, you won’t be able to play any of the live games in demo mode. This is fair enough since the casino has to pay the dealer and live games have higher overheads than digital games.
Other Games
There are a few “novelty” games available at Highroller. These include:
- Flying Pigs Bingo
- Volcano Eruption
- Gorilla Go Wild
- Call of the Colosseum
This is a small selection, but many casinos don’t offer any at all. These are great if you want to just switch off and have a little fun without having to think.
Promotions
Highroller offers all new players a welcome bonus to get things started. Rather than gimmicky promotions, however, all players who stick around are rewarded with an ongoing supply of “coins’ which can then be traded in for free spins and more. Let’s look at each of the available bonuses one by one.
Welcome Bonus
All new players can claim a 100% deposit bonus up to the value of £100 and 50 free spins on video slots.
The minimum deposit required to be eligible for the welcome bonus is £10. Deposits made by Neteller and Skrill won’t count.
The wagering terms on the welcome bonus are x45. That’s higher than I would ideally like to see, which makes this bonus a little less enticing.
The free spins are given at 10 per day for the first five days. Anything you win must be wagered x35 before you can cash it out. The spins will be available on the following games:
- Day One – Warlords: Crystals of Power
- Day Two – Jungle Books
- Day Three – Gold Lab
- Day Four – Starburst
- Day Five – Second strike
This is a decent bonus overall. It could be better if it had lower wagering requirements, but it’s still worth a closer look.
Note that players from Croatia, Ukraine, Latvia, Pakistan, and Thailand are not eligible for this bonus.
Highroller Rewards
This is where the overall theme of Highroller.com comes into play. As explained a little earlier, you’ll be moving along a game map through Metrocity. Your movement is based on your playing habits, and the more you play the faster you’ll move. You’ll even get to build your own personal avatar to play with.
As you play you will accumulate “coins” and will unlock rewards. When you move through an entire district you’ll “level up” and will enjoy an extra juicy reward.
To explain things a little further:
- As you accumulate coins you can trade them in at the Highroller shop. For example, 20 free spins on Starburst will cost you 100 coins. 10 Mega Spins will cost you 1250 coins. I’ll explain more about those in just a moment.
- Each time you level up you will be given a special reward. You could get cash in your account, freebies from the store, extra coins, or free spins. Level ups happen every time you’ve made your way through a district, so the more you play the more often they will come.
- Since Metro city is crime-ridden there are “stings” and “grabbing opportunities” along the way. You can basically get extra coins and rewards through these scenarios. Be careful, though, because if you don’t play for five days you will become vulnerable to stings and can lose your coins. Basically, other players will mug you.
Now let’s take a closer look at some of the rewards you can either win when you level up or trade your coins in for.
- Spins are free spins valued at £0.01 per pop.
- Super Spins are free spins valued at £1 per pop.
- Mega Spins are free spins valued at £3 per pop.
I really like this theme and the way it rewards the most loyal players. I also like the element of suspense, knowing you could be a victim of a digital stickup if you don’t log in and use your coins. It adds an extra element of excitement to things and makes me want to log in and trade my coins in for rewards ASAP.
Do note that different games in the casino help you move through the various districts at different speeds. Slots will always be fastest, so if you like the sound of these rewards it’s best to play them often.
There are a number of casinos with interactive, ongoing games like this built into their theme. As I said earlier, I like this one best of all the ones I’ve encountered so far. Maybe that’s just me, though, since I’m a fan of crime movies and stories.
I’ll take this ongoing rewards system any day over the bonuses I’ve seen 1,000 times before. Well played, Highroller.com!
Banking
Highroller falls a little short when it comes to the number of deposit and withdrawal options available.
There are only four ways to get your money in and the same number of ways to get your money out. This is extremely limited as compared to most other online casinos I’ve played at.
The saving grace here is that all the methods are fee-free. I always like to see that. Every little fee taken could be a winning spin when it comes time to play.
Deposit Methods
- Credit Card
- Debit Card
- Paysafecard
- Trustly
Withdrawal Methods

Come on, Highroller! Surely you want to let us use web wallets and cryptocurrencies? After all, money is money from whichever way it comes.
Customer Service
There are a couple of ways to reach the Highroller.com customer support team, but a telephone hotline isn’t one of them.
Email – Send a message to [email protected] and expect replies to take between 4-12 hours, depending on how busy it is. This is an OK response time as far as email support goes. Obviously, you’ll want to reserve this option for nonurgent situations.
Live Chat – The fastest and best way to get in touch is live chat. You’ll see the little owl with headphones on in the bottom right. Click him at any time and enter your account information to get connected. I had to wait roughly 45 seconds but the operator I connected with was courteous and considerate. She explained the bonus terms as well as some information about games to me.
The customer service options are good, but I’d still like to see telephone support. Highroller, if you’re reading, make it happen!
Would I Play at Highroller Casino?
I’m definitely impressed with my experience at Highroller casino and I recommend you take a few moments to check it out for yourself.
The interactive nature of this casino is truly unique, loyal players will be rewarded generously, the games are second to none, and the customer support agents are super helpful. The only two minor things I’d like to change are the addition of a telephone hotline and the lowering/elimination of wagering requirements on the bonuses.
Sum It UpIf I had to sum it up in one sentence it would be – this is the real deal!
